I remember a few weeks after they disfellowshiped me over some simple human weakness, and all the so called “Friends” I had known for twenty years, ignored me like I was a rabid dog, so one night before going to my favorite Brewskie hole, I stood in front of the Kingdom Hall front door and dropped a loaf, and truly enjoyed the rest of my night.

Regular attendance at the Kingdom Hall produces lackadaisical outlooks
by Judicial Committee inregular attendance at the kingdom hall produces lackadaisical outlooks.
i was born a witness until i simply grew up, and started becoming responsible for my own views and decisions uncluttered from a magazine or (organizational) indoctrination.
there is a segment of our society that is much more content, to simply allow someone or something to make all lifes important choices for them.. i feel there is really a creator who loves and wants the best for mankind, trust me i did not learn this fact from the witnesses, all ever learned from them was to be dull minded and unable to question anything pertaining to spiritual matters, and live in fear and discomfort.

You know it makes me nauseous, how the catch phrase serving Jehovah which in reality is really serving the legal structure of the Watchtower organization, it is definitely not serving Jehovah in the real sense of the term, it’s nothing more than a “catch phrase” that the Witnesses use like sleeping people while asleep make the noise of Snoring and Frogs croaking; it really has no relevance. In fact is rather presumptive, of the Witnesses to declare with such piety, that they are serving Jehovah the Hebrew god of the bible; I would hate to think that the true god, really is a god of such a collection of hurtful rules that factually cannot be pointedly found anywhere in the scripture.

Society tells us to stop asking questions...
by cedars ini was just glancing at the back of the october 15th watchtower and the questions from readers.
the question under discussion is "what should i do when i have a question about something i read in the bible or when i need advice about a personal problem?".
the article goes on to discuss how we should consult the watch tower publications index among the many 'tools' that have been provided by the faithful and discreet slave whenever we have a question that is not directly discussed in the publications.. one statement really caught my eye, because it's the first time i've ever seen the society actually dissuade people from writing in with questions.

Concerning all the holidays, it was when I was in grade school through high school that it dawned on me periodically that there was just too much control in my life, there really was nothing wrong with holidays. My mom and dad mostly my dad was so consumed by the bullshit view that the Governing Body had concerning holidays, flag salute, or just about anything; he did not “live His Life” he lived life according to the precepts of some stupid religion, rather than ensuring that all eight of his children have as normal of a life as possible. Thus is the curse that Jehovah’s Witnesses cast upon their children, namely a half lived life. (Dad God rest your soul.) I will see you in Elysium.

Give me a break, I for my part would never west foot back into a Kingdom Hall! To me it is paramount to going back to Jones Town and drinking the KoolAid again, just seeing the inside of the Kingdom Hall on your presentation made me nauseated, everyone in a trace like state, their all a bunch of Mo Mo’s.

I am from the land of the Mormons (Ogden UTAH,) the religion whom I wished my parents I would have raised me as, rather than the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I am quite confident” that I would have been much more successful in life and mentally better equipped to provide for my family than swinging a mop with in my “Janitorial Business that was egged on by the GB” or working for “Trim Line” and especially scrapping paint off the Squib Buildings” in Brooklyn NY city all for a hand shake and kick in the ass; all this after of course I signed a religious form of some sort declaring poverty, to cover the GB’s selfish ass’s. Oh well, would someone poor me another shot Canadian Mist.

“ We had one CO come through and complain about 1) opened toed sandals without nylons (!!!!!) and 2) denim skirts. He even complained about the pioneers using their bikes in field service.”
At the hall I went to for a while in Hurricane Utah there was this old gray haired chubby buzzard looking circuit overseerer pointedly complain about tattoos, my wife had a couple of them, I was setting in the back and I raised my hand and flipped him the Bird.

Most certainly I did, especially just before I told them the teachings were full of crap. They told me as a body they desired to speak with me about new feelings concerning the organization, I told them the feelings were not really new in fact anyone with half a brain could see if they were honest with them self’s that they are who god would want to use; and at that I abruptly told them to pound sand.
